Margaret has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, having worked in investment banking, consulting and asset management sectors. She was appointed Group Chief Risk Officer at Quilter in April 2026 and was appointed to the LPPI Board 1 September 2021.   

She was previously the Chief Risk Officer at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). She has previously held senior risk roles at asset management firms including M&G Investments, Schroders and First State. She has worked in the UK, Asia and Australia. In addition to her executive roles, Margaret has held non-executive roles at Global Prime Partners and the Pension Protection Fund. Margaret holds a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities institute of Australia, and a BA in Accounting from the University of Canberra. She is also a certified Financial Risk Manager with the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
